I’m Nickia, the Creator of Invested AF®, The Empowerment Planner™.


I was Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA but spent my college and adult years evolving in NYC. It was at my 3rd internship that discovered my passion for Makeup Artistry.  Years later, I chose to walk by faith (June 1, 2016 to be exact) and execute my dreams of being a successful freelance artist.

Since my departure from a major brand my work has been featured on a Feature Film, Paramount, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, XXL Magazine, CNN, BET, YouTube, CBS & more.

Now I’m out to help you remove limiting beliefs, stay connected and maximize your life while empowering you to succeed creatively.

Invested AF®, The Empowerment Planner was born from a love and life of journaling and a lack of guidance in what was on the market. In 2016, I purchased a planner because the cover embodied a phrase that was about to be the theme of this new chapter in my life. That year, actually May 31st was my last day of having a full-time job because I quit to follow my passion.

Within that year of continuous self-discovery and budgeting my life, I was venting to my cousin about how pissed I was with this planner and even more agitated after purchasing a journal from an influencer that I admired. What she said next is the reason Invested AF®, The Empowerment Planner™ has been in published since 2018 and why every year it helps more people discover their full potential.

“So make your own,” she said.

And I did.
